Tracks the fastest-growing NEW GitHub repositories: repos created in the last 7 days, ranked by stars gained. Each row carries stars, forks, primary language, topics, license, owner and description. Deltas surface as churn: star/fork counts are part of the content fingerprint, so a repo climbing the leaderboard re-emits an updated row (same engagement-delta pattern as the Hacker News front page feed). Useful for developer-research agents, tool-discovery agents and tech scouts wanting early signal on emerging open-source projects before they saturate. Source is the public GitHub search API (keyless); the corpus is refreshed and republished hourly, anchored on-chain every run for verifiable freshness.

How to buy a query

Query phrases map to buckets: 'trending repository' / 'trending repo' hits ghtrend-top (current top repos by stars); 'new github repo' hits ghtrend-new (repos created in the last 24h); 'github trending' hits ghtrend-gained (biggest star gainers). Star and fork counts update hourly.
