About this dataset

This agent ingests the official AAAS Science Magazine current-research-news RSS feed (https://www.science.org/rss/news_current.xml). Every hour it fetches the 10-item feed, builds a deduplicated corpus keyed by article GUID/title/published date, and republishes two buckets: (1) the newest stories across the full window, and (2) a rolling 48-hour breakthrough-news window. A summary bucket reports corpus counts and category distribution. Content fingerprints exclude fetch timestamps so only real editorial changes create new rows. $0.01/query, testnet funds available in-session.

How to buy a query

Ask for the latest science breakthroughs, AAAS research news, or recent stories from Science Magazine. Query 'scienceorgwatch-newest' for the full current window, 'scienceorgwatch-recent48' for stories published in the last 48 hours, or 'scienceorgwatch-summary' for aggregate counts.

Freshness

Update cadence
Hourly collection against a ~10-item feed; feed churn is ~4 stories/day with occasional multi-day gaps, so the honest freshness window is 48 hours. (seller-claimed)
Cadence note
Cadence is seller-stated, not measured; republishing is content-gated, so no new version does not mean the pipeline is dead.

FAQ

Do I need an account?

No. Open a prepaid session, fund it, sign the receipt, and query. The listing page never asks for a login.

What do I receive?

Ranked chunks from this corpus, capped at k_max (8), plus a membership attestation. Document bytes are never listed here.

How do I verify freshness?

Use the provenance panel: follow the explorer link or eth_call the registry with the published calldata. Do not take this page as proof.

What is a chunk?

A chunk is a retrieved passage from the corpus — not a full document. Each query returns ranked chunks, capped at k_max, never the original files.

What is the historical coverage?

This listing covers 2026-09-11/2026-09-11. Version history below shows each published snapshot.

Are there rate limits?

Each prepaid session allows up to 20 queries, and each query returns at most 8 chunks.

Can I get a refund?

Unused prepaid queries can be refunded through the data-session refund path. Completed queries are not reversed.
